Cozy Farm Stay for Two

The area is very idyllic, such beautiful scenery and being surrounded by farm animals adds so much to the charm. It is an excellent way to unplug from the busy nature of daily life. The host was incredibly nice, we really enjoyed talking with her and learning about the farm, and on top of that we could get farm fresh eggs! The location, a short drive off the main road through Three Rivers, is a great home base to explore the national parks during the day.

There are only three downsides that come to mind. One was the very tight shower space. If you are on the taller side it can be tricky to manage in the trailer, but certainly manageable. Second, being tucked in the foothills, there is a lot of coyote activity. The farm employs dogs to protect the farm animals, and at night there can be noise from time to time. If you are a light sleeper this could be a challenge but the trailer even comes equipped with ear plugs (the host thought of everything) and for normal sleepers it’s not so bad. Finally, it was tricky to have breakfast outside in the morning as wasps caught on to the possible appearance of food in the table area outside the camper. Once one found it, more appeared quickly. Best to eat early in the morning if you want to have breakfast outside. Honestly these three things are getting quite nitpicky, because this stay is otherwise so great.

Ik hou van deze plek, wat een rust, boerderij, dieren. De caravan was verrassend ruim en alles was erin aanwezig.

We moesten even zoeken naar de locatie. Google gaf namelijk aan dat we vooraan op het zandpad ons doel bereikt hadden. Echter was het nog een eindje doorrijden naar het einde van het zandpad alvorens we bij de poort aankwamen. Er had nog wel een bordje mogen staan met naam en afstand in de bocht bij de splitsing.

We loved how peaceful and relaxing it was. We had breakfast and coffee while watching the farm animals.

La caravane était tout simplement parfaite, très spacieuse, propre, et toute équipée (cuisine, climatisation, douche et toilette). Espace extérieur très agréable au milieu des animaux de la ferme. Superbe expérience, parenthèse enchantée.
