The Belle Sequoia Motel RM9

Modern well designed little room. Location was great for access to Sequoia. Staff member I was communication with was great, always responded so quickly.

There was nothing to really report on. Other than the pool area, furniture could be upgraded as it was pretty dangerous, a lot of wobbly furniture, and umbrella stands not strong enough to hold up umbrellas.

How quiet it was. And the price

Shower head too big for the small stall shower. The front door steps needed to be clean.

The location is very convenient to sequoia and facilities are clean and recently remodeled

I had a lot of trouble with the wifi, and since there is no cell reception there either, I couldn’t call or text for help, and it was quite an ordeal to get this sorted since there is no reception on site. I was also unpleasantly surprised that there is no potable water, and had to leave the property again to go buy some. I can’t exactly boil 4 liters of water for each day of hiking in sequoia in the microwave. Kitchenette is really bare bones. Some cutlery and a kettle would have been nice to have at least.
