The Heather Sequoia Motel RM 4

The motel is located just 4 miles from the Sequoia National Park entrance - highly convenient! The air conditioning in the room was outstanding, especially helpful when it's 90 degrees outside. The room was very clean and spacious enough for my husband and me. I really liked the large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower; they were very aromatic.

The shower head could have been better. There were a few nozzles that were missing the rubber pieces, so it affected the water distribution. Since it's a square shower head, Most of the water came out of two corners. I had to tilt the shower head down so I wouldn't get sprayed on one side of my face or body. There was no feature allowing me to adjust the water flow. The sink had a very slow drain (I alerted the management and they offered to send a repairman). It would have been great if there were utensils and plates in the kitchenette (only glasses and mugs). We had an ant infestation in the mini fridge on the last day of our stay so we did have to dispose of some of our food. :-(

Hooks and towel bars needed. Can't hang anything anywhere. There should be a way to dim the appliance lights; they're bright enough to interfere with sleep The towel bar in the bathroom was coming off the wall Showerhead was leaky and needs replacement
