Ce qui est agréable , nous sommes sur place, nous pouvons rentrer de suite sans prendre le ferry! Les balades au milieu des champs de riz! Le ferry pour Allepey est à 5mn, pour 3/4 h de navigation.

The best place I stayed during my three months in India. A true paradise—a beautiful spot nestled within a village in Alleppey (Alappuzha). It was a unique, authentic experience offering every comfort, cleanliness, and safety. The room was spacious, featuring a comfortable mattress, pillows, and clean linens. The bathroom was spotless and stocked with bath towels and soap—including liquid soap for washing hands and face. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and a blanket was provided. There was a huge veranda furnished with a table and chairs, where I was able to study and work to the sound of birdsong amidst the lush beauty of nature, shaded and sheltered by trees, banana plants, and coconut palms. The hosts were an incredibly welcoming family who ensured I had everything I needed. The wife, Rakhi, cooked every single day—preparing fresh, extremely delicious meals tailored to my preferred level of spice. Ani, the owner, took me on a wonderful, authentic local canoe tour; we passed by stunning scenery, and he was consistently respectful while sharing many local stories. He is also happy to help you arrange any other tours you might wish to take. Simply PERFECT. I hope to return someday.

Very nice Homestay with lovely family! Room is big and clean and AC works well, the terrace is very nice with a lot of plants, cosy! The family cooks delicious meals ! And you can book kayaking tours that are absolutely a must, going through the quiet canals in the morning is great! Would book anytime again!

At night there are lots of bugs so bring mosquito spray.

The location is so beautiful and peaceful. The family who owns the place makes you feel at home. The food Raki makes is delicious! The terrace outside the room has a lovely view. I enjoyed sitting on the terrace and watching birds over the paddy fields at sunrise. It was also fun to walk around in the area. They also arrange boat tours and kayaking. We enjoyed the village canoe tour that they arranged for us. We did not visit Alleppey city at all. We just enjoyed being in the calm of the village. If you are thinking about booking this place, don't hesitate, just book it! You are sure to enjoy.
