Summit 505 Beach Resort Condo - Balcony Best View

It was no hassle. We really enjoyed it.

The property itself was good and the unit was clean and in good location.

The ad that lured me to book was misleading. It advertised that beach chairs and shade were big print to capture and then not true, I was expecting the beach chairs and shade offered by the beach service .When we went to the beach to inquire about we were told that our unit was not included for beach service, so we had to pay out of pocket for the service we were expecting. Poor marketing scheme

The location and views were fantastic. The resort amenities were fabulous. I liked the balcony, the convenience of provided beach chairs with an umbrella, and the kitchen was filled with much needed amenities. The bed was comfortable and clean. Also the A/C worked great. Loved having a washer and dryer in the room. Being on the 5th floor was an added bonus because the elevators often become backed up.

The room itself needs a lot of work. The cleaning job before we arrived was very poor. Old dirty towels were left in the dryer and the sofa bed was filthy with a dirty/used sheet still on it that we had to remove. The sofa had several stains and crumbs on it as well when we got there. The sink in the bedroom has a shelf piece that keeps falling off, and the other bathroom sink became stopped up pretty quickly. The living room furniture is old, uncomfortable, and feels dirty, like you don’t want to sit on anything but the wooden stools. The top bunk is difficult to get on and off of and graffiti is everywhere. The only bright spots were the main bed and the balcony furniture.

The location was close to our church conference, and was fairly close to areas of interest. The condo was clean with a comfy bed.

The condo is in drastic need of an update. Furniture is ragged and saggy and tile floors are chipped. The paint has been slapped on with runs and smears on the ceiling. Wall decor has no symmetry or style. The tub/shower is not very safe as the tub is slick and slanted. The worst aspect was new construction jutting out near our room that blocked half of our beach view and sunset views! If we’d been aware of this, we wouldn’t have stayed here. The beach area in front of the room is crowded and noisy due to daily chair setup and wave runner sales, etc. Also, the tight security to enter the property made it difficult to have family/guests visit.
