Enjoyable new year break in Belfast

Could do with a few touch ups - scraped wall paint, dodgy bathroom door lock, toilet roll holders loose. Minimal tea / coffee provided for 4 people 3 nights. Marks on carpet. Strange cheesy smell in living room / kitchen area. Lift was dirty from arriving cleaned last day - food and cigarette stubs.

Bit odd there was only one lift for such a large building but it didn’t cause us any problem. The key pickup was a bit naff - but it worked ok.

Our stay was stressful, overpriced and disappointing due to hidden costs and poor communication

Location was convenient.

There were many hidden costs that we hadn’t expected when booking. Before receiving the key, we were required to pay a large insurance/deposit, leaving us no choice but to proceed since we didn’t have time to cancel and find alternative accommodation. On top of that, there was no parking permit left in the apartment. As a result, we received a parking ticket despite parking in the correct spot for the property. Since checking out, I’ve emailed the property manager Andrew several times asking for assistance and clarification, but received no response at all. We ended up having to pay a substantial parking fine, which made the experience extremely stressful and disappointing. The apartment itself was also below expectations. It felt tired, with stains on the walls, the toilet roll holder falling off and the overall standard of cleanliness not being very high. Overall, we paid much more than anticipated, didn’t receive the service we were promised, and left feeling frustrated and let down.

Fantastic stay and would highly recommend

We stayed at the penthouse apartment in Belfast and had a fantastic time. The location was ideal. Quiet enough to relax. The apartment itself was modern, spacious, and spotless on arrival. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and the living area was perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the city. Check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was friendly and straightforward. Overall, it felt like a real home away from home, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again when visiting Belfast. Highly recommended.

Inconvient and stressful

Complicated check in. Our original room had no lock on the door so we were moved to another room. We then had to leave the fob for the parking back in the original room and received a fine warning for parking in the designated space, despite being told all was in order. The beds are not large doubles but small. There is poor air circulation and they are very noisy. Wouldn’t recommend

Stay was comfortable but communication was confusing.

Good location- easy to walk into town and close drive to ferry (which is why we booked there). Great to have washer and dryer. Great new pots and pans and applicances.

Lack of aircon was difficult as the days we were there it was muggy and hot. Booking through booking.com was a bad decision. The information was confusing and I had 3 different people communicating with me. The actual staff (Andrew) was clear with communication but the agency and booking.com confused everything from the parking situation to having to verify my identity and pay extra money to do so (this is not correct on the information I was provided by booking.com).

Fantastic stay in Belfast – spotless, super comfy accommodation with excellent communication from the owner.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property in Belfast. The communication with the owner was excellent, making everything easy and stress-free. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable, which made me feel right at home. Its convenient location was perfect for exploring the city, and overall it was a great place to stay, I would definitely recommend it to others

Suitable but expensive

Location from the city only 0.8 miles to walk . Very spacious.

It wasn’t a penthouse as was on level 6 not 7 (top floor) very tired deco not luxury at at which for the cost I was expecting something quite special. Parking was crazy to get the information we needed .

Very good location, just couldn’t find air con controls , apart from that if we could get similar price for next years stay we would rebook. Secure location deffo was deffo a must especially for my wife n child
