Refúgio do Vale Verde

We spent 14 wonderful days in this fabulous apartment. Our time in Madeira was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to the hospitality of the owners, who live just below the apartment. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was very well stocked, including, food storage containers, sandwich bags, olive oil, a wide selection of spices, and much more. We were also welcomed with a bottle of wine, juice, Brisa, water, beer, coffee capsules (compatible with Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, and other systems), tea, and many other thoughtful touches. What made our stay even more special were the delicious homemade cakes (yes, several of them!) and other sweet treats prepared by the owner. The location is also excellent. Ponta do Sol is an ideal base for exploring the island, with easy access to all of Madeira’s spectacular sights. Communication through Booking.com with Beatriz, who managed all our correspondence, was also excellent. She was always friendly, helpful, and responded quickly to every question. We will definitely consider booking this apartment again on our next visit to Madeira.

Het huis is fantastisch. Schoon, ruim, licht. Een heerlijk dakterras en een balkon met zeezicht. Alles wat je maar kunt bedenken is aanwezig. We werden verwelkomd met koek, cake, wijn, bier. limonade, chips, en een heerlijke zelf gebakken chocoladecake. Later in de week heeft de gastvrouw nog een ananascake voor ons gebakken. Heerlijk! Het contact over het verblijf was prima en de eigenaren, die onder wonen zijn erg aardig.

The hosts were helpful, very welcoming and kind. The property was exactly as shown in the photos and was very clean and really well equipped. Everything had been thought about.
