St Julian's Skyline Penthouse with jacuzzi

The penthouse is within walking distance of everything you can think of: food, shopping, groceries, bars, etc. If you need to catch the bus, there's a bus stop right around the corner. The street the penthouse is on is extremely quiet. The penthouse has 2 balconies which is pretty cool. You can even see the water a bit from one of the balconies. The penthouse is extremely spacious, even the bedrooms were large and pretty comfortable. But the jacuzzi was the best part (and the main reason I got the house). It was ready to go, clean, and I enjoyed it every night I was there. The host was very attentive and answered any questions I had. Before check-in, he sent a link that had everything I needed in order to find the address, connect to the WiFi, and his contact information.

Getting into the penthouse was a bit confusing and frustrating. The host sends a QR code that you're supposed to scan that opens the door, but I spent 5 minutes outside the door trying to figure it out (guess I'm technically challenged). The scanner kept scanning the code, but the door wouldn't open so I just ended up using the key from the lock box for the duration of my visit. There was an information book inside, but it was tailored more to the "smart" devices of the house instead of how to use the scanner. Another thing that I didn't particularly like was the lack of security of the penthouse. I wondered if the QR code DID open the door without the actual key how I was supposed to lock the door once I got in because the only way you could lock the door from the inside was WITH the key, so I'm not sure if I was supposed to leave the door unlocked all night or what; again, there wasn't any additional instructions once I got inside. I used the key to lock the door and kept it in the keyhole at night to ensure security. Another huge concern for me was the sliding doors to both balconies didn't lock. While I doubt someone would be able to climb up and over the balcony to get into the penthouse, it still gave me anxiety every night when I went to sleep. I also didn't like how there weren't TVs in the bedrooms, but that's just my own personal preference; it didn't take anything away from how I enjoyed the house.
