We, four adults and three teens, stayed in the self-catering cottage. It has a rustic charm, old but solid, in a lovely rural forest area with horses grazing on the lawn as well as fowls and we even saw a tortoise. The bedding was clean and adequate and there is lots of crockery and utensils and plenty of hot water. It is reasonably priced for what it provides.
Most of the appliances in the kitchen are not in very good condition e.g. the toaster only toasts one side of a slice and the braai drum has seen better days. A few thoughtful touches like some dishwashing liquid would be appreciated. Some of the beds were also not very comfortable.
