Bayside Beach Retreat

Within walking distance to beach , cafe, IGA and restaurants. Very nice location. Very spacious house. Easy entry/exit. Will visit again.

This is a lovely property. It is well appointed, the living area and deck at the back was lovely to relax in. A short walk to places to eat and an IGA. A short walk down to the water for morning walks. The property was very clean, lots of products and treats left for guests from the kitchen to the bathroom and very comfortable.

The home is beautiful, well decorated and has a great relaxing atmosphere. The whole house was very clean

Totally out of the owners control, but the kitchen was full of ants when we arrived. There was no insect spray anywhere and the kettle seemed to have become somewhat of a nest. There was hundreds if not thousands of them. We needed the kettle to boil water for baby bottles- the Rockingham Visitor Centre who manages the property contacted the owner and they said that nobody was able to deliver another kettle. Apparently the owner and cleaner weren't around. Maybe I'm just picky but for $430+ per night I would have thought they'd be able to find someone to drop off a kettle. We were told to boil a pot on the stove which I said is something we would do if we were camping, not paying $430 a night for a nice home. The next suggestion was to buy a kettle and be reimbursed but we had no time during our stay for that. Hopefully they had time to replace the kettle before the next guest arrived. We were able to get insect spray which we left there.
