Excellent vacation! We will be back!

We had a fabulous stay! While our condo needed a few minor repairs, we were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were helpful, accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. We had a great view and especially enjoyed relaxing on one of the balconies each morning, listening to the many birds. The location is very convenient. Having access to taxis from either the lobby or the resort entrance made quick trips to Chedraui for groceries or heading into La Crucecita for meals very easy. Taxis were $100–120 pesos each way. There are also a few restaurants and shops in Tangolunda just a short walk from the condo. While that was convenient, we especially enjoyed exploring the many restaurant options in La Crucecita. The beach at the resort was lovely, and we spent most of our time there. This resort has more of a relaxing vibe rather than the all-inclusive party scene, which was exactly what we were looking for. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Bel la Grill beach restaurant was a great spot for lunch—we actually preferred it over the buffet, though it’s only open midday. The resort is located on a hill, which may not be ideal for guests with mobility issues. However, the bell staff are usually happy to provide a ride to the condo—especially if you tip them 😉. We actually enjoyed the extra exercise! This was our first time visiting beautiful Huatulco. The weather is incredible, and the people are so friendly. We will definitely be back! Thanks again for everything!

We had heard that the buffet restaurant at the resort was expensive and not the best and we would agree with that assessment. We preferred to eat out for dinner. That said, it was certainly convenient to have an easy dinner option available when we arrived late and didn’t have time to shop for groceries.

As indicated, we didn’t have any opportunity to stay in the unit.

The day before our arrival date the host said that she had double booked our condo. We had confirmed this accommodation nine months earlier and had fully paid for it. The rental was for three weeks during high season. She said that she had found us another unit in the same complex but couldn’t access the unit to send us any photos. We finally learned the replacement unit number and a search indicated that this had happened to another person. They were unhappy with the replacement unit they felt compelled to accept. We fortunately found alternate accommodation and Booking.com dealt with us fairly. We do not recommend booking with this host. It was stressful and a terrible way to start our holiday.

Luxurious stay on a steep garden hillside

The grounds- It felt very luxurious and beautiful with gardens and lit buildings when we arrived in the evening. Huge waist-deep swimming pool, friendly staff and easy access to the beach. We ate at the buffet and beach restaurant and watched an iguana climb a tree while we dined on shrimp. Comfortable Condo with door code, 3 bathrooms and a full kitchen to cook. Cute outdoor tub to soak privately. This was a splurge on luxury. For $1100 CAD for 3 nights, you better soak up the hotel facilities!

The hill to our condo was quite steep, plus more stairs to access, no elevators. The property is on a hill so there are many flights of stairs, a detail we were unaware of when we booked. The pillows on the bed were too big and there was no coffee or bottled water on arrival. We did not have access to hotel wifi outside of the condo.

Pools were fantastic, great views from condo. Lovely place to stay.

Condo pool was a little scary with a 4yr old (no glass on edge of pool) but we managed and had a safe time when swimming.

No contrates con Airbnb en Booking. Usa la plataforma correcta y no caigas en engaños.

Pues el condominio está montado sobre la marca de Camino Real y aunque pude usar las instalaciones para mí familia los servicios de limpieza, asistencia para el bienestar del huésped dejaron mucho pero mucho que desear. En verdad no sé cómo Booking se presta a estos manejos. Si yo hubiera querido rentar un Airbnb pues uso esa plataforma pero quise aprovechar Booking.

Ya lo dije. Este apartamento está dentro del complejo Camino Real y uno piensa que tendrá las atenciones propias de esa marca pero después mi familia y yo caímos en la cuenta que era un apartamento bajo un esquema Airbnb. Recomendamos a más personas tener cuidado con esto porque no tuvimos ningún apoyo ni para lo más elemental como la provisión de toallas limpias ni aseo del cuarto y mucho menos apoyo para sacar la basura. Aparte, la ventilación natural era casi nula. Booking debería apartar estás ofertas de hospedaje que no son claras pues aprovechan la marca de hoteles prestigiosos y ya contratado el servicio le avisan a uno que cualquier tema es con el propietario del condominio lo cual también es falso pues yo interactúe con un administrador de propiedades al que ni conocí. En fin. Está vez si me defraudó Booking.

Sin importar los detalles que siempre hay la estancia fue magnífica

La vista del Condo es preciosa y el departamentito es muy amplio y cómodo. Tiene acceso a la playa privada y a la alberca del hotel. La playa es muy tranquila y se puede nadar, la alberca es enorme y con una profundidad donde los niños están seguros pero los adultos pueden nadar sin ningún problema. El departamento está a punto de necesitar una remodelación, pero está en las condiciones que las fotos muestran fielmente, es cuestión de observarlas bien. No obstante, en las condiciones actuales el Condo aún está en un buen estado, digamos que alguna vez fue de lujo y hoy después de los años ya no lo es, pero tiene un estado de conservación bastante aceptable.

Algo que no se enfatiza o se menciona es que el Condo no es apto para personas mayores o con discapacidad. Para ir del estacionamiento al Condo hay que subir 130 escalones. Algo similar hay que escalar para ir de la playa al Condo. Para personas de edad mediana sin discapacidades llegar al Condo es fatigante, no imagino el vía crucis que esto significa para una persona mayor o con problemas de rodilla. Algo que estuvo muy mal es que después de haber hecho la reservación nunca me enviaron el número y la clave de entrada del Condo y nunca contestaron a mis preguntas en el contacto que pone Booking. Alguno de los bell boys fueron muy groseros y nos trataron muy mal, simplemente decían yo no puedo llevarlo a su Condo ni sé cuál es; si no me dice el número y la clave del Condo no puedo hacer nada por usted, en un tono bastante molesto. Afortunadamente, Hugo, un bell boy muy amable nos dijo no se preocupen ahorita hablo a la administradora de los Condos y solucionó el problema. Por cierto, que de esa administradora, los bell boys saben su teléfono privado, el cual no es el que viene en booking como contacto, ahí nadie te responde.
