Villa Arbolita by JB Villas

The swimming pool, the size of the bedrooms, beautiful villa. Staff were lovely. We faced a few problems when we arrived as the previous guests had smashed the door so the owner sorted out workmen to come and replace the glass the same day. The workman knocked out the broken glass but by doing so got lots of small shattered pieces into the swimming pool. I asked the owner for the cleaner to thoroughly clean the pool as my 2 young children were swimming in the shallow bit where the glass fell. Once I explained this to the staff abd showed them the glass, all 3 were extremely thorough with their search and clean around these areas to help keep my children safe from cutting their feet. The owner was really helpful, always responding by message to my requests promptly. There was some confusion with the cost of the private taxi but he helped sort that out too.

Next door is a temple looking building so just be aware that there will sometimes be lots of men doing loud chanting and burning incense. As it happened the first morning we were woken early due to this and the next day too, they were conducting a funeral ritual so there were lots of motorbikes down the road which does make it near impossible for taxis to get down without backing into trees along the side. There wasn't anything we didn't like. The problems we came across all got sorted out really quickly so that was great.

Indoor outdoor living was pretty cool. In January in rained most nights but didn’t wet the living area so we were still comfortable.

Upstairs lounge area couldn’t be utilised when it rained.

We had an amazing stay at this villa. The team of staff were wonderful — attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. Communication was excellent from beginning to end, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The location is perfect, close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed stay in Seminyak!

The only minor suggestions would be to update the TV and microwave and the shower rose in the bedroom next to the pool needs fixing, but overall, everything else exceeded our expectations.

Pool was so beautiful. loads of great restaurants, and supermarket very close by. easy scooter ride to the beach. bathrooms clean and new. would be perfect with a group of adult friends if that’s the location you want.

I wasn’t a fan of the outdoor living. found it hard as kids had to lock themselves in their rooms at night. prob wasn’t the best choice for us with teenagers. kitchen needs to be redone. bedroom downstairs smelt very mouldy. cushions on day bed by the pool were mouldy.
