Forest Edge, The Catlins

A perfect home away from home. So clean and beautifully done. Everything you needed. Gorgeous views. Warm and just had a lovely feel to it.

Everything about this property was excellent. Extremely spacious, great amenities, very modern and clean. We loved the wood burner, and it proved to be very useful for keeping the house warm and cosy.

There was a planned power outage that we weren't made aware of prior to our stay. This happened on the first morning of our stay and therefore we were without any amenities for 5 hours. This was particularly frustrating as if we knew the night before we would have been able to ensure we had food cooked and ready for the outage and had all showered etc. This was compounded by the fact that there was nowhere in town open to get food

Great location in central Catlins and close to beach and estuary. Roomy, comfortable home with really great kitchen and very relaxing living area, and lovely deck with sofa for morning coffee with a view. Comfortable beds and very nice bathroom. Close to a great cafe and store, and attractions were easy drive away. Kate was the perfect host.

We were aware of there being only one bathroom but it wasn't an issue for our group of four and the toilet is separate which is good. There was nothing at all to dislike!

וואו!!!! קודם כל העיירה עצמה מהממת ובכלל האזור. הכי שקט ויפה שטיילנו בו. הבית מהמם ומעוצב להפליא, נקי ומסודר. יש משחקים וספרים ובכלל הנכס מאוד מתאים למשפחות עם ילדים. ממליצה בחום!!!

יש חדר שירותים אחד ומקלחת אחת. אין מיקרוגל.
