1. The owner was responsive. He gets back to you right away about any concerns you have. 2. Fantastic value for the price. 3. The landscaping on the property is kept nicely. 4. The apartment is really a whole house. It is neat, clean, and minimalist. 5. The shower (no bath) and kitchen faucet have good pressure and hot water! 6. The living/dining room is huge. 7. The lights and refrigerator are on solar so if the electricity goes out you have the basics. 8. There are security lights on the property. 9. There’s a clothesline outside and a sturdy shower rod for hanging your laundered clothes. There is a wash bucket in the kitchen (no washer or dryer). 10. Big closets in the bedrooms. 11. The kitchen has a microwave, 4 top stove with oven, pots and pans (no mixing bowls), plates, mugs, glasses, a small grater, some silverware, a few knives (none sharp), and wooden stir paddles. 12. Easy to get a taxi to town.

1. Lack of an outlet in the master bedroom, although there is one in the living room and second bedroom. 2. The house is rustic. A number of windows do not close completely so insects can come in. There are also openings above and below the doors. That being said, I didn’t have many insect problems in May. 3. There is no air conditioning in the kitchen or living room although you can open the windows to get a breeze. 4. You cannot drink water from the tap so there is a “bubbler” on the counter. There was a jug with water in it when I arrived. If it needs to be refilled, you must go buy water jugs from the local grocery store yourself. 5. The mattresses are very firm (I happen to prefer soft). 6. This is a local neighborhood. Sometimes you’ll hear dogs barking for hours (the owner has no control over that). There’s a nearby church that can be very loud. Generally though it is quiet other than the voices of people walking in the street, passing trains, rooster and geese sounds. 7. You have to not mind that the housekeeper comes and goes in the apartment (the laundry room and linens for both rentals are kept in the apartment); she is pleasant and helpful. 8. Sometimes you’ll get people trying to come into the apartment in the evening thinking they booked it. Whereas, they actually booked the cottage to the back of the property (a sign would be useful).

The location was close to town and was not far from the Victoria falls most place were easy too

I didn't like they had round sockets in the bedrooms not there fort I needed to prepare for that they had some in the living room and we managed

Kitchen was adequately equipped, bedrooms and bathrooms were very functional and with load shedding the outside barbeque was extremely useful

The rental room at the back of the property was not well managed. On two occasions we had to intervene with renters when incorrect keys supplied or staff not available to check people in
