The location is absolutely perfect! For someone who knows how many great dining options there are on Bowen's Wharf, some of the best restaurants in town are right outside your door! Even being caught on a rainy day you can find whatever cuisine you may want! And on a good day, you are right in the middle of it all and you can walk to pretty much anywhere! Thames and America's Cup have a lot to do, and you're not far at all from all the places Broadway has to offer!
The two bathrooms for the floor made some key times very difficult to get in there. If you have the ability to and you're staying a few days, shower sometime after 10 am and before the next check-ins arrive. That was my little trick to making sure I wasn't waiting.

Bed is uncomfortable. Shared bathroom gave My Wife anxiety because someone could enter it anytime, but we knew that going into the reservation

The location was excellent, right on a wharf with restaurants and shops on the doorstep and a short walk to all the downtown bars and restaurants. The arrival instructions were clear and helpful. There's no parking onsite but that was clear from the outset and we were given good instructions on local parking lots. Good value for the location.
Not sure how I didn't notice it when booking, but the shared bathroom (there are two actually) came as a bit of a shock. I would never normally book that but I think it's my fault for not reading carefully enough. The room was definitely not large as advertised, it was in fact rather small. Decor was tired and a bit shabby and the bathroom was basic but everything was perfectly clean. We never saw any staff, our key was taped to the door when we arrived and on leaving we put the keys through the office letterbox as instructed. The Crow's nest reminded me of a seaman's mission, I wonder if that is what it once was. All that said, it is still good value and if you're looking for basic accommodation and don't mind a shared bathroom it would do nicely.
