Beautiful house, perfect location for what we needed. Fully equip with everything to make the stay comfortable. Would highly recommend!

This was an excellent place to stay which suited our needs exactly (5 adults) in terms of facilities and only a few minutes walk from the nearest tube station in to central London. Also within easy walking distance to Portobello Road or Little Venice. This has been a very careful and thoughtful renovation of what used to be (a hundred years ago)) a Beer House or Off Licence: it even has its own cellar with table tennis, table football and darts! I think that is unique. The rear enclosed and secluded "garden" space was excellent and all the rooms and beds very comfortable with full kitchen (even a dishwasher and washing machine) and comfortable lounge and dining area.

There was very little which we didn't like, and even then only one thing which might be in any way under the control of the owner of this property, so I will restrict my comments to this alone. There is a need for EVERY panel of the front facing windows (ie all three bedrooms) to be fitted with blackout blinds in addition to FULL WIDTH curtains, not just net voile curtains. The East facing windows meant the room(s) were light from about 4am. (In the increasingly common UK heatwaves, and unless the excellent but noisy fans were to be in constant use, this meant the rooms also became unbearably hot very quickly) This simple addition would reduce the need for expensive aircon to be installed. It would also help to reduce a little bit of noise from the local area, especially when the windows needed to be open in the heat.
