King beds apartment with en-suite, private balcony and elevator by iconic Portobello Market

We loved how modern the apartment was. Having two bathrooms is so convenient when sharing with friends! Host was so helpful and responsive. We were a 15 minute walk away from Ladbroke Grove which was fantastic for carnival.

The surrounding areas are a little rough and the building itself could do with a good clean, however once you’re inside the apartment - nothing to worry about! There were a few stains on the pillow cases/ sheets/ towels.

When you first walk in the building it is very musty and the carpet looks very dingy but once past the entry hall and upstairs, much better once inside One of the must haves for my research of finding a place to stay with to have air-conditioning. They advertised air-conditioning, but it was a recent add-on mobile air-conditioning unit that wasn’t properly hooked up to a window so when I first walked in it was running, but I could feel hot air from the hose that was also in the room so it was contradicting itself. I did mention this to The co-owner of the place as it made it a pain to cool off because you had to have glass doors open to release the hot air from the unit, but then the hot air from outside would come in so it made keeping the place cool for my eighty year-old mother a challenge. The washer dryer was nice to have if we could get it to work properly. I found the manuals in the cabinet above the refrigerator and both my sister and I tried to figure it out a couple of times. But it always would end up washing extremely hot, which made it difficult to handle the clothing. Sometimes we wanted just to dry and we never did figure out how to work it properly.

The property is really well located near Notting Hill and Portobello Rd. The public transport is just around the corner. Although the apartment is tiny, we had plenty of room for 4 of us. The beds were very comfortable. We had an issue with the ensuite shower and the host responded very quickly with helpful instructions and called the plumber.

We liked everything, there wasn't much not to like

der erste eindruck war sehr nett, es gibt eine badewanne und sehr heißes wasser mit viel druck. die wohung ist gut erreichbar und nicht weit von der einkaufsstrße in nothing hill entfernt. es gibt kaffee und milchschäumer! und einen wasserfilter ;-)

es zieht doch etwas durch, wenn es, so wie bei uns draußen sehr kalt ist kommt die heizung nicht ganz mit. die fussboden heitzung ist nur im vorzimmer, in einem der beiden bäder und in einem kleinen bereich der küche aktiv. um die koffer vorzeitig abzustellen wollte der vermieter zusätzlich 50pfund! (im vergleich, 5pfund bei radicalstorage in der innenstadt)
