An Escape for the Senses

Lovely garden with sea view. Comfy bed, fridge/freezer, liners for the airfryer. Everything very clean. Use of garden leaves, herbs & fruit trees. Shaded eating area outside kitchen/diner. .

I have mobility issues - nothing was written on the website that there were 31 steps + a steep sloping ramp down to the accommodation & there were no hand rails for support. Parking was on the road at the top of the property so we had to carry everything down at the start & then back up at the end. The shower was in the bath, which made it very difficult for me to step into & out of, with steps up to the bath (no grab rails). No microwave or hot plates. Just an air fryer is not enough. No TV - the area above the desk would be the ideal place to put a flat screen TV on the wall. No comfy chairs - a sofa bed would be the perfect solution instead of the single bed. Only 1 flannel, 1 hand towel & 1 bath towel each - not enough for a 4-night stay. Only the bedroom had a heat pump - so the advertising for 'aircon' is only partly true. I could not find clothes washing liquid for the washing machine. There were no fly screens - bad enough in this autumn, presumably it's worse in the summer?

Breakfast N/A Wife dairy and gluten intolerant so have to bring our own food. Loved the accomodation and garden So private and peaceful. Interior of accommodation excellent. A big thank you to Susan and John.
