You have to walk a bit to reach the stay. Mall is about 1.75 km from the stay. Walking is mandatory all over Darjeeling town.

Me with my family were visiting for the second time in three years. We had stayed there for 5 nights earlier back in 2022. Here's our overall experience: 1. Cleanliness and hygiene of room and overall homestay is maintained at top notch level. 2. Although location is a bit too away from Chowrasta, but if you wanna experience the majestic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga along with the Darjeeling town and other surrounding hills and forests (if the sky is clear which we got this time), then there's no looking back. You can choose this homestay blindly without any second thought. This homestay can offer you the best view from the room, balcony and rooftop. 3. Now coming to the most amazing part we have experienced in this homestay: the hospitality and the food. Our hosts Mr. and Mrs. Tamang are one of the best individuals I have ever met. The sweetness and politeness with the sense of responsibility and awareness amazed us. We have exchanged so much of talks, knowledge and information by spending hours of discussion. Coming to the food part, every single dish prepared and served by Mrs. Tamang tastes supremely delicious. 4. Even if we visited for the second time, the hospitality and the welcoming nature of Mr. and Mrs. Tamang felt like our own family. It was becoming to a family get together rather than a vacation to us. Therefore, I can't restrict myself to rate the property as a 5 star one in all aspects. I highly recommend this property worth visiting to everyone.

It was relaxing, memorable, homely or peaceful.. our stay at this homestay was truly wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming,making us feel like part of the family from the moment we arrived.The room was clean, cozy and well-maintained with a beautiful Kanchenjunga view that made mornings special. The big highlight is a homemade food taste, freshness with aunty’s love. The homemade food was delicious and had an authentic local flavour that we absolutely loved. The homestay is located to all major places like Mall Road , chowrasta and peace pagoda nd many more center points of Darjeeling also rental bike are available in affordable price . Watching the sunrise view also Kanchenjunga Mountain View with tea on the balcony wan an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a comfortable, homely and memorable stay. The peaceful environment and genuine hospitality made our trip truly memorable.
