The host and his father were very polite and helpful. The food was amazing there. The view from the terrace was astonishing. You can stay there with your family and friends, you'll feel like home. I stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days with my family of 4 and a kid comfortably. Everything there was good.

Food was unavailable due to the owner's family issues. The location is beautiful but 1.5 km from Mall Road. However, the owner kindly dropped us off and picked us up from Mall Road for visits and meals. There are 45 stairs to reach the homestay. Overall, the property's location and views are stunning. We booked oweners taxi to reach, local tour and drop.
Owner may include at least one drop and pick for Mall road in his tariff.

The hosts were very accommodating and the breakfasts served by Sanyog and his family were really good and affordable too. They took care of our taxi to Darjeeling station to catch the toy train and also helped us get back to the homestay in a friend's taxi during a rainy evening as we were stranded on the way.
The view from the balcony is amazing especially in the mornings and the garden is also nice looking!
The price per night is very affordable as well.
The location is a bit further up from Mall Road and so although you'll get more quiet in the night, getting to and from the property is a bit of a hassle, plus there's a decent-sized staircase that you'll have to descend to get to the property which can be risky especially if its raining.
The rooms didn't seem to be insulated that well, the place was freezing especially in the nights and the mornings which we didn't expect.
