Casa Jacquelina, luxe appartement, panoramahouses

The property was in a great location and has a lovely swimming pool in the premises. A fantastic view of Mt Etna from a bedroom balcony.

We rented the apartment for 2 weeks in July 2025 and really liked the village Calatabiano- it is small, charming and cozy in it's own way. You live close on other Italian families and follow their everyday rhythms, ex with siesta. There are few tourists in the village and not so many people speak english. The prices is very good compared with f. ex Taormina. If you have a car you can easily get around and Calatabiano is a nice starting point when visiting other places north as well as further south on the east coast. The closest beach is only 3,5 km away. The apartment is super fresh and very clean. It is well equipped, is nicely furnished and has everything you need. A big plus in the middle of the summer is that there are air-conditioners in almost every room. The host is very friendly and the communication was super. We received a lot of good information via WhatsApp before arrival. We really felt that she wanted us to have the best experience staying in the apartment and in Sicily. She even brought us an extra sun bed when she came by (we are a family of five and there were two sunbeds at the apartment) She has a collaborator who lives close by that you can contact whenever you need and who also met us at he apartment on the arrival day.

Nothing actually...if I should mention one thing it must be that it would have been nice to know in advance that the pool has very strict rules. You must wear a swimming cap all the time and it is not allowed to have bath mattresses or beach balls in the pool. This was a bit disappointing for our three children...but they did get used to it :)
