Battersea Serviced Apartments

Good apartment size. Good location for me. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Lots of portable fans left in apartment to help deal with very hot summer days when I stayed. The app to open the apartment front door worked reliably.

Phone app to open apartment building door did not seem to work - I relied on the concierge to let me in (he confirmed the app rarely worked) Coffee machine needed to be de-scaled. I couldn’t see a kit so was unable to use it. Previous resident food left in fridge, shoes left in cupboard. More tea bags would've been good. Small dishwasher would’ve been good. Apartment was very hot.

Der Gastgeber hat sich hinsichtlich eines Parkplatzes sehr engagiert . Ist nicht selbstverständlich. Man fühlte sich sicher , denn am Eingang war ganztägig immer ein Ansprechpartner. Der Mann in den Abendstunden war sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit!

Leider war es in den Gängen vor der Wohnung und in der Wohnung aufgrund der sommerlichen Temparaturen etwas zu warm. In der Wohnung konnte man aber denn der Wärme mit lüften und Ventilatoren beikommen. War schon einige Male in London und es wäre hilfreich wenn man zu Beginn wüsste wohin/Destinationen die einzelnen möglichen Verkehrsmittel (Bus/Zug ) in der Nähe fahren.

Great location overall and close to where we needed to be. Relatively inexpensive

- Dwello - Not a fan of providing unnecessary personal information like my drivers license in order to place a deposit. Not something I would do again in principle. - Condition - The place was ‘clean’, but everything from the carpets to the cupboards were in a bad way. Numerous stains on the carpet, worn and damaged cupboards with peeling paint, screws sticking out the walls. The place looks like it was decorated with free or second hand ikea furniture in about 30 mins and then put up online. The white carpets in the front room were particularly bad and set an awful first impression when we walked in. My wife said the place made her ‘feel itchy’ due to its general state. - Misdirection/Inaccurate images - The images on the website show an apartment with a balcony over the water. The apartment we were in was out the back overlooking a road and a building site. When i looked there was only the ‘back’ room available, and so I didn’t know there was a ‘River View’ option and expected the apartment to have a view. If you have multiple properties then make it clear which one you’re looking at in the photos and paying for to avoid disappointment and complaints.
