Comfort Retreat in Harrow - Near Station

The room was basic but clean and comfortable with a microwave and a kettle a couple of wardrobes and 2 comfortable beds. It's about a 15 minute walk to North Harrow train station and you can be in the centre of London in half an hour from the station and 10 mins to Wembley park.

The accommodation which is about 15 mins walk from the station, NOT "steps from the station" is just a spare bedroom in a family apartment. The bathroom is the shared family bathroom and it wasn't clean. With mold in the grout, dirty mirror and shower screen and the tap was dirty and looked like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time. For the price it was never going to be fantastic but the description says "luxurious apartment" and a "luxurious stay in comfort and tranquility. Serene ambience and modern amenities ". It's literally a spare room in a house. The guy opened the door and answered his phone and pointed to the room, which is accessed from the front vestibule, he pointed at another door and said "that's the bathroom. The pictures on the site show a fully fitted kitchen which it says is shared - this is just the family kitchen and we weren't shown where that was. There was no fridge as stated. Could have overlooked most of this as we weren't planning on using the kitchen but could have been caught out if we had planned to. The main issue was the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom. It's not as described. And when you arrive, don't look for a place called Comfort Retreat - that doesn't exist. It's just a name they have put on the advert.
