The apartment is quite close to the city centre. The kitchenette is well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. The owner is very friendly and responsive.

The door to the apartment is extremely difficult to open. You practically have to force it open with a hard push or kick every time. The apartment itself is super tiny, especially when the sofa bed is unfolded. At that point, there is barely enough space for two people. There is no wardrobe, clothes rack, or ironing facilities provided. If you are planning to dress nicely for an evening in the city centre - forget it. Although the owner was friendly and pleasant to deal with, he seemed somewhat disorganised. Check-out was scheduled for 10:30 a.m., and we had planned our morning accordingly. However, at around 8:30 a.m., he informed us that workmen would be arriving at 9:30 a.m. to carry out repairs in the apartment. We did not want to change our plans at such short notice, so I let him know that the visit would not be possible. Anyone who has seen the apartment would realise that there is simply not enough space for more than two adults with their luggage, let alone for repair work to be carried out while guests are staying there. The bathroom is a disaster. Its design does not allow water to drain properly, so after every shower you are left standing in a pool of used water. In addition, there was significant mould in the silicone seals and grout between the tiles. The shower handle was cracked, and the shower head holder was broken, an issue that has apparently been mentioned in previous reviews as well. The mattress protector also had multiple yellow stains. Overall, we had a nice time visiting Rennes, but we would not choose to stay in this apartment again.
