Cliff Villas Hiriketiya

OMG. What an amazing place to stay. We don't even want to tell people about it so that we can keep it to ourselves! The attention to detail is second to none, including thoughtful provision of adaptors, and mini bar items included. The breakfasts are also amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be back.

Beautiful villas with a private outlook to the ocean. Private pool and generous sized rooms. A tasty breakfast was provided at La Playa beach club, located on Hiriketiya beach. It was a 600m walk or 3 min Tuk Tuk ride and involved a steep hill on the way back. Dikwella beach was a short 200m walk away - a fabulous spot for sunsets. Great eateries are located nearby.

One afternoon of our 2 days stay music from a neighbouring venue was very loud, however it stopped by 8.30 pm. The following evening (Saturday) was quiet.

Le fait de ne pas avoir la possibilité d’avoir un tuk tuk qui nous emmène à l’hôtel, la maison est excentrée et nous devons nous déplacer jusqu’à l’hôtel par nos propres moyens La piscine était sale quasi dès notre arrivée et n’a pas été nettoyé des 3j elle était jaune à la fin…

Amazing villa with a short walk to both hiriketiya and dickwella beaches. The villa itself is beautiful, with excellent facilities, comfortable beds, great bathrooms, lots of comfy outdoor furniture for lounging by the private pool. Minibar with free soft drinks and reasonably priced beers. It really is a stunning location and we loved strolling to dickwella beach for a swim and to watch the sunset. The staff at La playa were amazing, they transported our luggage for us to/from the villa at check in / check out, and there was one evening we couldn’t find the light switch for outdoor lighting and after asking on WhatsApp within 10 mins staff arrived and helped us find it. Breakfast at La playa was great as well. Wish we could have stayed longer as this was one our favourite stops on our honeymoon.

Only downside would be no aircon in the living areas however this didn’t really matter as were outside most of the time and the aircon in the bedrooms is good. It is expensive but the villa does have a luxury feel in terms of the finish and the facilities.
