About this bed and breakfast
Margaretville Mountain Inn, a Queen Anne victorian circa 1886 is located in the heart of the Catskill mountains. Sit a while on the 80 ft. wrap around porch with mountains views that greet you at every turn. Stay and soak in the fresh air and clean water of this beautiful countryside inn or star gaze at night up in the fields. A truly relaxing atmosphere from a by gone era. Every room is decorated in a different victorian style with modern bathrooms. We have King rooms and Queen rooms and a suite that sleeps 4. A full country breakfast is included and prepared by the innkeeper herself. Food allergies will be accomodated along with diet restrictions. Please inform staff prior to arrival of any food allergies and accomodations.
We have a hot tub for guests located in the milk house next to the 1915 historic barn. It is open all year long. We have bathrobes and towels for your convenience. If you prefer, one can sit by the fire in the parlor or the fire pit outside. All situated on 26 acres and is an ideal spot for weddings. Our other barn, the carriage house wedding barn accomodates 125 people. If intested, please make a separate inquiry and we will get back to you.
There are many things to do in the area, hiking, fishing , boating, skiing, snow tubing. Whatever the season we have an activity. Rail rides and train rides, cross country skiing awaits you. Visit Margaretville, a quaint victorian village with many boutique shops and many dining options. The Inn is only a mile and a half up the mountain from the village. We also have our village suites in walking distance to main st, and is listed on this site as well. We are near many other wedding venues in Roxbury, Andes, Bovina, Fleischmanns.
