Hosts were amazing. The house was spacious for the 3 of us. Outdoor space was lovely. Kitchen well stocked with plates/cups/coffee filters. There is an ice maker and it works! Also a nice touch is the Brita filter jug. Beds were all very comfortable. (Not cotton sheets though- but it did not state cotton)The nit picky: Slight dog urine smell, I think the rugs in the living room and the big bedroom should be replaced and that will fix it. Water pressure in the shower is lacking, two showers at once is not possible for a quick shower. If you like nicer toilet paper, bring your own. There was no cleaning spray or wipes to clean any surfaces used during the stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who needs the space and likes to be outside. The neighborhood is very quiet! We felt safe, and had a great time

We had such a wonderful stay at Forest Acres Retreat. The home was beautifully furnished, spotless, and truly had everything we needed and more. From the comfortable rooms to the thoughtful amenities throughout the house, we felt right at home the entire time. Unfortunately, it rained throughout our visit so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor patio or the two fire pits, which looked absolutely amazing! Even without being able to use the outdoor space, the property offered plenty to enjoy indoors and made our stay relaxing and memorable. Thank you for providing such a peaceful and well-equipped place to stay. We would absolutely return and look forward to experiencing those outdoor features next time!

We had a wonderful time at this location visiting our son for family day and graduation from basic training at Fort Jackson. The location had nice restaurants to choose from in the area and close to the base. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. I highly recommended this location if your looking to stay in the Columbia, SC area especially if your visiting Fort Jackson.

Host was super helpful and responsive. Property was very clean and close to the base. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of hotwater. The backyard was very nice and relaxing.
