Entry & Living Area:
Step inside and be greeted by the warmth of natural light streaming through uniquely designed portholes, adding charm and character to this spacious home. The cozy living area offers a perfect spot to unwind, with stunning views and plenty of space for everyone to relax.

Chef’s Kitchen:
To your right, you’ll find the chef’s kitchen—fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and ample counter space. It’s the perfect setting for preparing family meals or trying out new recipes, with an open layout that encourages gathering and conversation.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms (Main Level):

The house was beautiful and provided everything we needed for our lake front stay. We have 9 people comfortably housed with bath rooms and showers . Outside provided great views and we were able to have two evening fires in the firpit.

Excellent location of house and we had lots of fun in GOTL at the shops, bars and restaurants. False advertising however with stating that the basement sleeps 10. There is no egress and therefore presents a safety issue. Also, our stove/oven did not work upon arrival and throughout our visit so we were not not able to cook most of the food that we brought with us for the weekend.

The view was fantastic and the beds were very comfortable. The firepit at night was a bonus. We could have used more dish towels and had no dish rags. More towel racks are needed & stove not working properly. The major complaint was the early check in. We arrived three hours early so I called to see if we were able to get in. I may have misunderstood but I thought I was told that it would be an additional 25. I found when checking my credit card account that it was actually 25 an hour. We had heavy rain the one night which flooded a section of the basement. I called to report the incident but that was as far as it went. Nobody came to mop up so we did it ourselves. In addition the instructions upon leaving were we could just leave but it would be nice to help out the cleaners. We did what we always do when leaving a VRBO stay. - we stripped the beds, put all used towels on the bathroom floors and swept the inside and the outside porch. This is where I have a problem. I called when I found out we were charged 75 for early check in instead of what I thought would be 25. I was told on Aug. 22 that the agent would check with the owner about a possible refund and was told that they would get back to me as soon as they had an update - today is Sept. 2 and still no reply. I thought a refund was a no brainer since we went above and beyond what was expected of a renter - especially since we cleaned up the section of the basement which was flooded. Live and learn.

I got this house for my mom’s 50th birthday and brought nine family member’s and friends it was awesome! We did the ice wine festival and got Madsen Donuts for breakfast the day we left. Awesome stay!!

We (14 girls) stayed for two nights while visiting Geneva-on-the-Lake and had an amazing time! John made the check-in policy so easy and provided great recommendations. The house was right on the lake with amazing views. The basement was a great space to hangout and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you'd need. The neighborhood was quiet, but not near the strip or wineries -- so a driver or ride is required. The ride is short though - so not a big deal! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location on the lake. Plenty of kitchen space and seating for our party of ten girls who enjoyed sitting in there for meals and playing games. Bedding and bathrooms on main level good setup. Basement with musty smell making bad for additional sleeping situation.

This place was so beautiful! The kitchen was a pretty good size and where we hung out the most. Each bedroom was spacious also. I loved this house so much. Not too far from the restaurants/bars, but in a nice quiet area. John was so great and helpful! He recommended a few spots to check out and things to do while there. There were 10 of us that stayed. Finding the house was easy. The house is adorable, it fit everyone perfectly. There are 10 lounge chairs on the break wall with room to bring your own chairs down there. Getting down to the lake is Steep but if you just take your time you will get down there. we were all in flip-flops and really didn’t have much of a problem. Getting from the brick wall down to the lake, all the way to the left there are a few large rocks that makes it easy to get down there. The host Sean is a really nice person he called before we even left to tell us what is around there and places to go. And if you try to reach him he’s very quick at responding back to you and helping with whatever you need. We had an absolutely great time everything was amazing!

Amazing property! Gracious host! My family of 14 stayed 4 nights and we could not be happier. Many a fine meal was prepared in the best appointed kitchen we've ever had the pleasure of using. Lake views were breathtaking! Played endless games on the provided cornhole boards, looked for seaglass daily, and sat in the yard on provided furniture talking and laughing with fabulous sunsets and the sound of waves lapping as our backdrop. Place was very clean with plenty of amenities and a ton of room to spread out. Basement is absolutely perfect for late night raucous party games (dont have to worry about disturbing the neighbors) and the whole gang fit very comfortably. Loved the "libations" honor system table and some of the decor pieces are just STUNNING works! Host was very laid back, easy going, and quick to respond. Our stay was absolutely perfect and we would definitely book again!! Don't hesitate to snatch this place up.

This house is beautifully furnished & decorated, with breathtaking views from the kitchen, porch, & walk down to the shore. The property owner is very helpful, friendly, & responsive. The beds are comfortable. There is a huge fridge & freezer, & an awesome gas cook stove & several high quality grills outside that our husbands loved. There are lots of huge pots & pans, & other appliances. The kitchen is the one place that had some challenges. It has an odd sink that appears to have come from a restaurant kitchen. It's very deep & narrow & difficult to get into. The dishwasher is very tiny, & didn't work while we were there, so we washed all of our dishes by hand. While there were many large pots & pans there were other standard things that were missing (we do a lot of cooking & baking at our family reunions). The other concern is the path down to the lake. It's very steep & rutted with rain run-off, which made walking down & up for the elder generation more difficult. Overall, we would definitely rent this house again! I know they've put a lot of time & effort into it & I imagine things will continue to improve with time.

This was a great house for a long weekend, with six adults, (3 couples). The location is between Ashtabula and Geneva on the Lake. It is about 15-20 minutes to beautiful wineries. The house is right on the water. We used to be three upstairs bedrooms. They were very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms for each room very nice. In the kitchen we really enjoyed the very large, commercial freezer and refrigerator. These were very helpful for cooking large group meals. There were two coffee makers one is a Nespresso that makes lattes. Be aware, the walk to the water is very steep but we made it multiple times each day.

This is a beautiful, modern home with many conveniences. The three upstairs bedrooms each have an ensuite bathroom. An additional bedroom and bunk-bed room downstairs share a bathroom. The house is decorated in a way that is quirky and fun. The kitchen is extremely well supplied with pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, and appliances, as well as a huge fridge and freezer. There is ample seating outside to enjoy the lake breezes and beautiful sunsets. The owner is very responsive and really cares about his guests. The surrounding area has wineries, kayaking, biking, mini golf, and "the strip" at Geneva-on-the-Lake - something for everyone.

Appliance issues. Stove and freezer not functioning properly. Breakers tripped several times. Seating was unable to accommodate family meals. Much clutter in kitchen making food prep difficult. Basement rooms damp and humid. Dehumidifier was not set up for continuous operation. Water intrusion during stay. Downstair Bathroom was not conducive for guest use. Break wall construction work with excavator continued throughout stay. View was great and directly on Lake Erie. Close to Geneva. Many outdoor games provided.

The house slept everyone perfectly. With more bathrooms then you know what to do with. The house sits above the lake so you get great views. The concrete pad by the lake is also nice. They have beach chairs down there so you can sit by the lake for hours. It makes you feel like you’re on the ocean. Great place. Great Owner

We had my daughter's bachelorette party at this property. A beautiful home on the lake with a lovely porch with a view of the lake. Plenty of sleeping space and bathrooms. A very pretty great room with attached kitchen with industrial fridge/freezer combo. Great for a group! Went to the GOTL strip Fri night and a wine tour the next day. Nice outdoor space for a firepit and cornhole and late night karaoke in the basement! There were more than enough towels for a group of women and the kitchen had just about anything you could need to prepare a great meal. John was a great host. We do hope to come back again!
