You are in for a grand time at The Colonial, located center of the Strip in Geneva-on-the- Lake, Ohio! Ideal for families and large groups, this stately three-story home can accommodate up to 20 people with its 7 bedrooms, 2 full sleeper sofas, and 4 baths. Enjoy amazing views of the Strip from the covered front porch with plenty of space for families and pets to play on the surrounding grounds. Take in the area’s attractions, play a round of golf, purchase wine from the local wineries, then relax in style at The Colonial.
Amenities offered by the pet friendly Colonial include: A/C; Wi-Fi and cable; A spacious kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances and fully stocked with cookware, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils and dishwasher; Fresh linens for the beds, and towels are supplied in the 4 bathrooms. The Colonial’s beautiful outdoor entertainment space features a wood burning fire pit and stocked propane grill.

Great house to rent. Huge, close to center of town. This was our first time for GOTL. When we go back will be renting this house again!

I left a note on a chair in the kitchen that the right front leg was broken. We did not break it. We noticed it when someone tried to sit on it. Thank you. Always a fabulous stay.

The house is great for large groups, sleeps 20 easily. The house is also perfectly located on the strip of shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Perfect for parties and there is a large fire place. The time of the year we went it was cold at night, the house doesn’t have central heat and the heated are gas controlled with an open flame and risk CO exposure if not done right, we did not feel comfortable lighting these. Also the midges were all over the outside of the house and hundreds got inside. One of the guests left because of this. It rained the last night we were there and the attic ceiling started leaking in one of the other guests rooms. The house is old and needs some updating. Additionally there were decorations left in places in the house from a previous party that the cleaning people missed and weren’t exactly appropriate for kids so hopefully those are removed before a big family party. Otherwise we had a great time!
