Casa nel Verde is located just about 3 km from the town of Terrasini and only 1 km from the highway exit (A29 Palermo-Mazara del Vallo). It is in a very strategic location given its proximity to the “Falcone-Borsellino” Airport. In addition, just a few kilometers away, you can visit the small towns of Sferracavallo, Isola delle Femmine, Capaci, Carini, Balestrate, Alcamo, Castellammare del Golfo, Scopello, and San Vito Lo Capo, where you can spend your free time at the beach or enjoying other activities, as well as the renowned sites of Segesta and Selinunte.
The “Casa nel Verde” Villa is a private, independent property that can accommodate up to 12 guests for vacations; it is situated in a panoramic location overlooking the enchanting Gulf of Castellammare del Golfo, offering a 180° view.
It is family-run by Dario, Roberta, and Fabrizio. The villa is the ideal place for nature lovers and those seeking peace and relaxation, as well as for those who wish to explore places rich in art and history, attractions, and leisure activities—places brimming with culture and local flavors.
The villa consists of a large main building designed in an elegant Mediterranean style.
The villa’s expansive garden, surrounded by ornamental plants and olive trees, invites you to relax, read, and enjoy sunny days, while the surrounding area offers opportunities for pleasant nature walks. The villa is thus the perfect place to spend a peaceful vacation with loved ones.
The spacious rooms are elegant yet warm and inviting, equipped with every comfort and air-conditioned. In the large living room, which features satellite TV, the stone fireplace serves as the focal point, surrounded by sofas and period furniture.
The dining room (adjacent to the brick kitchen, which reflects the warm, old-fashioned Sicilian style), with a large wooden table (seating 12), is the common area that guests can use as they please.
The real gem is the large terrace, fully furnished with all the amenities, offering a panoramic view of the enchanting Gulf of Castellammare del Golfo, where you can admire fantastic sunsets.
Outside, there is a lovely stone barbecue area, shaded by a century-old carob tree.
A short distance away lies the center of the charming town of Terrasini, a popular tourist destination where you’ll find a variety of shops and can enjoy the beautiful sea and spend a pleasant vacation with friends and family.
The owners also organize delicious Sicilian dinners and boat tours upon request.

The property looks just like the pictures and my family really enjoyed our time at the Villa. The views are amazing and is very close to everything you will need in Terrasini. The owners were very responsive to our questions. The only issue was the WiFi and satellite TV did not really work. To the owners defense we did not mention it until check out. It was a blessing to truly disconnect.

The villa was spacious for 8 adults with a beautiful view of the water from the covered patio. Excellent location to visit surrounding areas. Our hosts were very gracious and made us feel very welcome!

My family and I stay in villas when traveling simply because we love the convenience of cooking and eating together. The many great reviews encouraged us to book it. However, we’re still scratching our heads as to how/why there are so many of these misleading reviews.
Upon check-in, the owners greeted us with an ‘All business- like” attitude. They went over the House Rules, signing of documents, etc. They informed us, very firmly, that we were responsible to remove all garbage from the house upon check-out. The garbage, we were told, could be driven to some location nearby. REALLY? If we did not adhere to this, we would be charged 30 Euros. Wow, we’ve never experienced this and were taken aback by the severe tone set forth during our initial meeting.
After settling in, we discovered the following:
-the villa is very spacious and has a beautiful terrace with
a million dollar view.
- the kitchen ( very important for us) was disappointing to
say the least. Dark, dingy and not very clean.
THE UNANIMOUS DECISION WAS NOT TO USE THE KITCHEN.
- the bed linens are cheap and old. Pilled blankets and
sheets.
- we were given only 1 towel per person for the entire week.
- upstairs bathroom smelled of mold/mildew. The bath
mat looked like a rag.
- sofas need to be replaced…couldn’t sit without sinking
Advice to owners: Pay more attention to details. Do some upgrading.
We will not be recommending this villa.
