Sunrise Agonda

Such a little gem! I’d stayed in a pretty fancy resort before checking in and Sunrise Agonda had far better WiFi, good and quiet air con, powerful shower and consistent & reliable hot water - in fact everything seemed very very new. It’s one of the best budget places I’ve stayed in, has everything you need including a great balcony and is clean, quiet and safe. It overlooks the street so I really enjoyed sitting out there watching village life. It’s also near some great restaurants and is very handy for the ATM! Loads of laundry places nearby too. What impressed me the most was how helpful the hosts were and easy to communicate with. They offered me the help of a taxi and also passed me their number after checking in so that I could ask them any Qs.

More than one coat hanger would be helpful :)

This place is at an excellent location in the middle of the beachside strip. Very clean. Bathroom excellent. The aircon works a dream. There is a great balcony looking down onto the street with palm trees in the background. Good fan. Lots of light for night readers and controls by bedside. And… there is an actual kettle!!!!! So bring yer teabags. The host is mega chill and leaves you to your own devices - so do yell when you want the room cleaned.
