    Great location, rooms are small but it’s Tokyo. Overall we had a good stay but prefer an Apa hotel over this

    This hotel confirmed my reservation immediately, saving me from sleeping on the streets after a problem with another booking. The room was spacious and despite being in a prime location, was actually very quiet. I couldn't hear my neighbors through the walls or anything! The location is very good; easy access to Sapporo Dome (10 minutes, and the station is directly next to the hotel). It is a short walk up the road to Odori station. The area itself is in the middle of most of the recommended Sapporo tourism spots, and there are many restaurants in the area as well. The room was clean, but run down. There was a hole in the floor next to the bed, there appeared to be water damage around the walls, and there were holes everywhere from where fixtures had been removed and replaced. There was no problem with any smoke smell, thankfully, as I've had non-smoking rooms in the past at other hotels that were clearly not. The staff were very nice and helpful. I'd had a truly terrible day, was in a lot of pain, and was struggling with my Japanese. The staff member helped me through the self check-in, provided me with information in English, and tried his best to speak English as well. I think this is a decent discount hotel choice, if not just for the location. However, I booked a room last minute during a peak time, so the price was a little higher than I would have been willing to pay otherwise.
