Hotel The Viking - Near New Delhi Railway & Connaught Place

I like everything about the Viking Hotel itself. But I don't like the neighborhood where it is located. However the Viking Hotel is an excellent place to stay. I like how clean it was, how spacious it is. I like the staff and the service they provide. They never hesitate to bring me anything that I asked for such as extra towels, soap, clothe iron, water, etc. It was a real pleasure staying there for 13 nights. Breakfast was also excellent. But I had to order it by scanning the QR code to the menu. The service was great 👍 👌 I had no issue ordering food this way. My stay at this hotel was an awesome experience.

As stated before, I like everything about the Viking Hotel itself. But I don't like the neighborhood where it is located.

Reasonably priced and despite the cacophony of street noise outside, my room was quiet.

It’s located in a bit of a rough area.

The staff was so friendly and attentive, they even helped me solve some small issues I had in the very short stay. The room was large and nice. As a plus, they had delicious indian snacks in the room. The hotel is in a busy street but it was surprisingly quiet at night and morning. I fully recommend this place!

The shower area was a bit dusty (maybe not used for a long time), but nothing that rinsing it off didn't solve. I still would def stay here again when in Delhi!

The hotel was basic with no windows in the room - good for those on a budget - in old Delhi which is a bit crazy but you get the true feel of India. It was clean enough.

Location was on a super busy road in the old part of Delhi and charged a lot for a bottle of beer which they got from outside - would recommend buying your own from one of the nearby shops. Breakfast was basic
