The house is very conveniently located. We loved the amount of indoor and outdoor space the property provides. Overall, it feels like a stay at Grandma’s or Great Grandma’s house in the country. If you come with small children, it’s well-equipped with most everything you need. The washing machine wasn’t like anything I’d operated before, but after I figured it out, it cleaned clothes really well. Line drying can be done inside or out. Despite being there during 90 temps, the house was cool as long as we kept the shutters closed during the heat of the day. Overall, a fantastic value for the space, amenities, and location.

Large well equipped house in a peaceful location. Walkable to the town but we used the car park down the hill to access the town. Great location for visiting many great tourist attractions. Could do with another couch in living room as other chairs not that comfortable. Communication with the owner and lady who let us was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Close to Sarlat town centre - can walk down driveway but its a bit of a hike back up - drive car to free carpark at end of driveway is best option. Towels and linens are extra - we only got one towel each for 6 nights , one hand towel and no wash glove, we went to wash towels however no laundry powder provided. One couch in main room which was fine for two of us - larger groups might find that an issue. overall, it was fine for two of us.
