The Leadville Bunkhouse is a charming and spacious apartment situated above the most popular coffee shop in Leadville, City on a Hill. Located in historic downtown Leadville, built in the late 1800's, some contend this is Colorado's last frontier town. The boom days of silver mining have certainly left there mark. Today Victorian brick buildings painted a kaleidoscope of colors line the downtown's Harrison Avenue. Close to restaurants, shops, sporting goods, ski rentals and of course- your morning espresso and bakery. At 10,152 ft Leadville is surrounded by the tallest mountain peaks in Colorado. The location of this place on Harrison and 6th above City on the Hill Coffee is as good as it gets! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Communication with Jeff was outstanding as well. We would happily stay here again in the future.

Loved waking up to the smell of coffee. It was a very warm summer and the living room was hot. At night opening the windows and using the fans provided made it very comfortable and this city SLEEPS it was blissfully quiet outside by 8pm. It was clean, beds comfy, BUT definitely in need of new bed pillows. They were all very lumpy.Great location for wall ability in town. Complimentary drip coffee from the coffee shop would have been a great perk.
