About this apartment rental
Our accommodation, renovated in 2024, is situated in a scenic location on the edge of the Bad Salzuflen municipal forest. The fully equipped apartment serves as an ideal starting point for long hikes in the 630-hectare forest area.
The convenient access to the A2 highway makes it easy to quickly reach the surrounding towns.
A large, free parking lot offers ample space for trucks and RVs.
Location and Attractions: Our lodging is in a quiet location, away from busy roads, yet only about 10–15 minutes by car from Bad Salzuflen, Herford, and Vlotho.
A bus stop is 150 meters away, and shopping, a doctor’s office, a dentist’s office, and ATMs are within 2 km.
We’re very easy and quick to reach from the Herford Ost exit on the A2 highway.
Free parking is available right on our property, even for large vehicles with trailers. A walk through the Bad Salzuflen city forest is highly recommended, especially with children—it’s right on our doorstep. During the summer months, the “Zur Loose” mini-golf course—which features a lovely restaurant and beer garden—is just a 15-minute walk away.
Other attractions include the Vitasol, thermal baths, and sauna area (7-minute drive), the H2O Wave Pool with an outdoor pool and sauna area (12-minute drive), Martha Herford (13-minute drive), the Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Center (16-minute drive), and the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument on the Weser River in Porta Westfalica (25-minute drive).
Children are very welcome here.
