It was wet and windy when we arrived and while the cottage had an immaculate appearing interior, is was disappointing that it was cold with no heating. When the heating had not come on by the following morning I used the number provided to contact the owner and left a message. I had no response by the evening and still no heating and left another message for the owner. It was the following morning when I got a response from the owner and at last got the heating going. The owner was very apologetic and I was given a refund of about 10% of the total fee for the inconvenience. Access to the beach was through the garden of a large house and the couple were friendly and said 'to go anywhere you liked'. The beach area was lovely and secluded.

We were traveling from the US for a Scotland adventure. This was a great place for our base as we took day trips. It was a nice location close to town and had a great view of the Loch. Access to the shore was a bonus. The deck was also nice to be able to hang outside in good weather. We appreciated the folders with local info and the instructions for the appliances. The kitchen had all needed items for us to be able to cook our dinners.
