The cabin is adorable and very comfortable IF you are only 2 people (or a family that knows each other very well) and can share one bathroom which is in the MAIN bedroom.
Jay the owner is responsive and helpful, and lives downstairs
There was a Big BEAR on the premises at night time.
This is NOT really set up for 4 people. The only real problem with this cabin is the LOFT and the VERY STEEP ladder up to the loft. IF there are only 2 people staying in the MAIN bedroom of this cabin, you will be perfectly fine. However if there is another couple, hope they are very agile because they need to climb a very steep ladder to the upstairs loft which has no bathroom and also NO railings at all, so not good for young children either. The ONLY bathroom is off of the MAIN Bedroom and thus to access if you need to potentially disturb the people sleeping in the MAIN bedroom. This is DEFINITELY NOT DISABILITY FRIENDLY, as there are also a lot of steps to climb to front door. Otherwise, no complaints.

Really cozy place and very close to Vail. Everything was clean and made a good impression overall.
We booked for 4 adults and the space was on the smaller side. Not enough chairs to have breakfast or for sitting comfortably on the couch. Not enough cutlery and only 4 plates. The ladder is pretty sketchy and hurts your feet when going up. This made going up and coming back down quite stressful. There should be a railing installed along the top floor - when traveling with children this is an extreme safety hazard.
