Cozy apartment in Santa Monica parking, Gym, Pool

One of the best apartment stays I've ever had. I travel from Australia a fair amount, and having a nice place to stay makes such a difference. Location is close enough to lively areas for a short walk or cheap taxi to Santa Monica, UCLA, Brentwood etc. so I was able to walk to and from work and explore the area. Studio apartment was cozy, modern, very clean. Keypad entry so there's no time pressure for key handover etc. Spacious bathroom with the essentials, well stocked. Washer and dryer and enough racks to dry things in the sun if garments can't be tumble dried. It's in a safe apartment complex with a nice community, pool, gym and surrounding areas are maintained very well. The apartment also has cleaning items stocked so you can keep it clean and tidy on longer stays. Such a little thing that makes a big difference to your comfort but very few places provide this. I often cook rather than eat out if I'm travelling for work, the kitchen is fully equiped, knives are sharp, crockery is in good condition. The oven is amazingly good, wish I had one at home! Overall it's just really just complete if you need a home away from home, outside of food I didn't need to purchase the additional things I usually get for longer stays. Loved it. Most importantly, the host is an absolute gem of a human being. Massively helped me out in a last minute emergency - they didn't need to do that but really went above and beyond, and I'm very thankful.

Not a criticism, just a note: the oven range hood works well for general use but isn't quite powerful enough to catch all the smoke when cooking at very high heat, and the gas stovetop really PUMPS out the heat, so please be aware if cooking on a griddle or pan!
