Casa Escondida Anilao Resort And Dive Center

We had a fantastic stay at this resort and can highly recommend it. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and went out of their way to accommodate every request. Our room was spacious, beautifully equipped, and very comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was a highlight as well, with a huge bathtub and a walk-in shower. We spent six days diving with dive master Jimmy, who was excellent. He planned each dive meticulously to give us a perfect mix of macro and coral reef sites. Safety was clearly his top priority: dives were arranged to avoid swimming against currents, and we always spent extra time at shallower depths even before the safety stop to ensure proper off-gassing. He’s also an outstanding spotter, showing us an incredible variety of marine life we would never have found ourselves. The boat crew were equally impressive. Everything was taken care of from start to finish. We never had to carry our gear, and all equipment was cleaned daily. A real highlight was the opportunity to go blackwater diving. All in all, this is a true gem of a resort, just about two hours by car from Manila, perfect for relaxing while exploring some of the most beautiful dive sites.

The food in the restaurant was really nice and restaurant staff were super friendly

Super over priced for the hotel standard. Lots of signs and warnings everywhere about being fined etc so felt a bit on the strange side, The hotel was very over priced and would not half paid the amount for the room. It also smelt of the toilet/bathroom so not a great smell. The staff were pleasant but quite short when informing you of the fine system etc.
