We had a very relaxing stay at La Chevrerie Resort in Anilao. The highlight of the property is definitely the stunning sea view — waking up to the ocean right outside our room was beautiful and made the trip feel extra special.
The resort has a charming boutique feel and is pet-friendly, which we really appreciated. We also enjoyed spending time with the owner’s pets during our stay. The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed.
As vegans, we were grateful that the team was willing to accommodate our dietary requirements. They were also kind enough to help with the food we brought, even though the resort doesn’t normally provide heating facilities for guests. The staff were consistently warm, friendly, and accommodating throughout our stay.
The only thing we felt was missing was a bidet in the bathroom. Aside from that, everything else was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in Anilao.

We stayed weekdays for 3 nights during what we were told is the off-diving-season, as we were the only guests.
We chose La Chevrerie not only for its location but also because it is being promoted by being owned by a French owner. Our experience with French run hotels and resorts have been great when it comes to the Food and Wine choices. But LC does not reach that level AT ALL. This is especially disappointing as in that area one is limited for restaurant choices, especially when traveling with seniors.
The rooms and resort plus pool seem in good shape. We encountered a damaged toilet water pipe during our stay which flooded the bathroom. Fortunately the in house repairman was on hand and was able to fix the issue that evening without us having to change the room.
The title "tired" stems from the state of the gym and kid's playroom which could well do with a refurbishment.
For what it offers currently the LC Resort would have to be categorized as over-priced.
The positive are the staff whom we encountered, be it Florenze, Elaine at the reception and the others.
