OMA Hikkaduwa

Wir waren nach unserer Ankunft für eine 4 wöchige Rundreise in Sri Lanka zu Gast bei Oma Hikkaduwa. Es ist ein wunderschöner und gepflegter Ort zum relaxen und zu Ruhe zu kommen . Die beiden Besitzer sind sehr fürsorglich, können viel erzählen und Ihre Geschichte zu ihrem Haus ist beeindruckend und berührt uns sehr. Der Spirit dieser Geschichte ist deutlich zu spüren. Nous avons tout aimé dans ce logement, l’accueil des hôtes , la décoration, l’emplacement, les petits déjeuner super bons ! C’est l’endroit parfait pour se relaxer ! C’est un paradis à Hikkaduwa vous devez y aller les yeux fermés ! Les hôtes sont super , des échanges très intéressants ! Un grand merci à vous !

I travelled with my mom to OMA. It did look beautiful on the pictures, but it needed up being even better. Immersed in nature, the experience from arrival to exit is just perfect! The owners are so accommodating, kind and super hospitable. The house, the pool and the rooms are top, with a super comfy bed, a glorious outdoor shower, all the needed appliances, an awesome pool and garden, and a view that is hard to beat! We had a great breakfast and they even made us a delicious impromptu dinner that wasn't even part of the package :) Do not hesitate booking this property...we wanted to stay longer but it was fully booked. You will feel at home, or better! Thanks to Osa and Chille for a wonderful stay, and to all the lovely staff.

We extended our stay here, which makes it possible to share another review :D I stayed here with Jussi and wanted to add my own comments about the place. First of all, I have to mention the hospitality of the hosts, Åsa and Chili. Beyond just making the stay comfortable, it truly felt like our overall experience was very important to them. Whether it was helping with a doctor’s visit, sharing insights about Sri Lankan culture, giving tips about surfing opportunities, or accommodating small extra requests, Chili and Åsa went out of their way to help and make our wishes come true. We had unique experiences and truly felt at home. <3 In addition, the whole place was absolutely beautiful and very clean. Special mentions go to the spa-like outdoor shower, the terrace of the room with beautiful views over the field and yard, the best bed sheets of our trip (clean and new — not worn out like in many other places), and the open-air space on the top floor of the building, where there was a nice breeze that made it perfect for a small bodyweight workout/yoga.
