Long weekend stay

The appartment had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. Lovely touch leaving bottles of water and milk in the fridge. Appartment was clean and had a lovely view across the river Tyne and into the city centre. Great it also had secure parking as the street outside was busy. Went into the town a few times and was a briak 20 minute walk. Host was quick to reply when I asked for a slightly later check out time and was happy to accommodate.

Being picky but black out curtains in the bed room may help as there are some bright lights outside. Showers could be doing with a bit of an upgrade as well. In saying that neither had any impact on our stay.

Great location for where we needed to be

Great location and secure parking.Flat had a very large living area and two bathrooms were useful.Communication with the host was excellent.

Only 1 key so we all had to go out together.Beds weren't very comfy and a street light was directly outside one of the bedrooms and lit up the room all night.

Good place to stay with level walking and various hostilries close by

nice large appartment in a decent location 15-20 minutes from central station. 15 minute walk to nearest metro station 5 minutes from the bus. nice size rooms, no night noise outside and quite neighbours. lift to avoid stairs as we were second floor so good for the less ambient person

a little more cupboard space in the bedroom as they were sparcly furnished. one had draws the other a wardrobe, only one bedside light in the double. Hand towels would have been welcolmed Large towels still damp from being laundered

Wharfside On the Tyne

Great apartment, beds were comfy, on the whole it was cosy and easily accessible, lift in the building helped greatly with loading and unloading the car. Secure car parking, but a bit tight if you have an SUV or MPV otherwise all is well and good. I would stay again.

The location for our stay turned out to be too far for our visit, definitely needed the car or would have had to use taxi's.

Quiet area and building, beautiful view of the river and a Juliet balcony to help enjoy it. Large rooms, plenty of space.

Amazing stay!!

Great location, great views and had everything we needed - plenty space, towels provided, bottles of water, tea and coffee also left as well. Instructions clear on how to get in, and easy access to the property with parking available outside.

Sofa bed wasn’t very comfy.

friendly hosts with great natural light, but basic amenities.

Balcony view brilliant, property clean, host really responsive once there, neighbours quiet, ideal location away from city centre noise but walkable and so close to Ouseburn. 5 mins walk to a brilliant pub and 7 minutes to the buzz of Ouseburn.

The water pressure in the showers was low and the shower would often become a slow dribble before regaining pressure. The property was very clean but also minimally stocked. There were no hand towels to dry hands, and no dish cloth to wash dishes. These things would have made the stay a lot more comfortable, but it was otherwise perfect for a short weekend stay where we didn't need to cook in the flat.

Lovely location on the river. Clean apartment and good size rooms. Great to have secure parking. Currently a damp smell in the bathroom due to a previous leak

Needs work

Great apartment, perfect location and friendly host. Some issues I had were that when I arrived all the towels provided were all wet. Someone was parked in the designated parking space which was one of the main reasons I chose this apartment. The bedroom window wouldn't close for the whole duration of our stay.

Fathiya responded quickly to messages regarding key collection and arrived at apartment promptly at our agreed time. Spacious apartment. Property as described. Spotlessly clean bedding.

Excellent value for money.

Good apartment, situated a good 25 mins walk from the main Quayside amenities, which was absolutely fine for us, as we enjoyed the walk. Also well placed for walking to pubs in Ouseburn and further east along the river to St Peter’s Basin. Owner was v accommodating and responded very quickly to any questions I had.

Not close to any public transport like a Metro station, which would have been the cherry on the cake, but as mentioned we enjoyed the walk. Main bathroom shower could have been better, as it was a very small shower head over a bath. But that’s a minor detail.
