Easy to enter the apartment and instructions from host were simple. Close to city centre

I could tell it's someone's home (family pictures). It's also not too modern but gets the job done

The property is okay located, the neighbourhood is a bit dodgy. Easy to get in, on 3rd level.

The first thing we regretted when we booked the property was that the owner took around an hour to respond to the booking. We booked this when we arrived in Athens, around 13:30 pm. We then walked about 30 minutes to the property, and the booking was still not confirmed. We then called and called and called for about 40 minutes until the owner finally replied. Second thing I have not enjoyed was that the “breakfast” advertised that is not a breakfast. There were 2 croissants and some waffers. Tasty, but not a breakfast, unless you are American. A normal breakfast should be minimum some eggs, bread and cheese. The owner mentioned that a Greek government rule forbids them from giving us healthy food. The apartment is quite nice and cozy. The light in the bathroom is quite darken, and small. Shaving was a bit tricky, but still managed it. 3rd thing that really put me down is after a day in the city, I wanted to surf the internet and the wifi speed has let me completely down! I will attach a picture here, the download speed was so small and the upload couldn’t even be tested, that’s how low it was. I managed to work from the phone a little bit, but it is what it is. The lift outside is very small, max 2 slim people or 1 person and some luggage. The stairs are very steep, so careful on the stairs. We had coffee and tea left by the owner, thanks for that. I am assuming that was part of the “breakfast”. Last thing that bothered me was that when I questioned the owner regarding the breakfast, she proceeded to guide towards a restaurant. I didn’t managed to read the messages, as I was going in the city for a walk, but in an hour or so, she decided to delete the messages from WhatsApp regarding the place for breakfast she previously recommended. I couldn’t understand why she did that, but okay. 20 minutes walking to the nearest metro station but locally, there is a bus 051, but you need some walking for that too.
