Jedzenie na kolację trzeba było zamówić wcześniej, ale o tym nie wiedzieliśmy

Picture perfect ski chalet located directly on the slopes in Strazne. Wonderful cheerful staff who couldn’t do more to make guests feel welcome and appreciated. Simple but plentiful breakfast with homemade local dishes at dinner being the star of the show. Lovely bar and dining area for après-ski with fantastic draught beers and quality soft drinks. Children’s play corner with games and toys to keep little ones entertained on an evening. Well equipped drying room for ski equipment. Communal fridges and microwaves were provided in the hallway for guests to use. The Penzion was spotlessly clean and beds were very comfortable.

Unfortunately a recent party of guests had broken the hot tub and sauna which meant that it was closed when we arrived. For us that was a big disappointment as we had specifically searched for accommodation with a wellness area due to me having Multiple Sclerosis which causes spasming muscles after physical exercise. This meant that I was unable to ski as planned and we had to move to alternative accommodation. The host could not have been more apologetic or helpful when we explained the situation, taking our luggage and equipment to the car in the snowmobile but we would have appreciated being informed before arrival and given the option to cancel and stay elsewhere. The location halfway down the ski slope with only a pull lift meant that there was a long steep walk through deep snow with icy patches to go anywhere from the hotel if not wearing skis so guests should factor that in, especially families with younger children. The room was a good size with basic furniture which was quite dated. To make guests more comfortable, larger water glasses and a kettle and cups in the room or in the communal hallway would have been great. Hot water is available in the bar on request and glasses were provided when we asked for them. A TV, especially a smart TV allowing guests to sign into Netflix or Prime Video etc with their own accounts would have been appreciated, along with WiFi that reached the rooms. Having an alternative choice of meal for dinner, particularly for children, would improve the half board option.

Penzion uprostřed červené sjezdovky, naprosto perfektní servis, poskytovaný lidmi, které to prostě baví a je to znát! Naprosto úžasná domácí kuchyně, žádná přepálená fritéza🙂. Sauna + vířivka neměly chybu. Moc rádi se budeme vracet!👍
