Villa Africa

Villa was superb and in an excellent location. Inside was very comfortable and the pool area and roof terrance were very nice with lovely views and lighting for on an evening. The beds were comfortable and it had very modern bathrooms.

The utility had an awful smell and we needed to open the window constantly. Some of the beading on the blinds were broken and it only had 2 tall glasses but plenty of other smaller ones. The pool area let us down but only because it was so windy and there is building work going on opposite so we felt it was always full of sand and grit which made the water very murky. Obviously this was beyond the owners control and the pool was cleaned every 2 days because of this.

Great location. Tastefully decorated. Air con in all bedrooms. Lots of gym equipment and bikes to use.

No handrail to get in and out of pool safely. After a knee operation an easier access and exit would be helpful. After I was unable to get out of pool easily, and without assistance, I never went back in, which was upsetting. Other villas on either side had steps or a handrail, so I think an additional safety option would not be too difficult to install. Everything else was exceptional.

Villa was modern, clean and very well maintained, the pool was stunning and cleaned twice a week. On the upstairs terrace there was a beautiful seating area and gym equipment. The villa was well stocked with everything you needed and all in good condition. Short walk to the Atlántico so the location was perfect, there were bikes also. We had the best time on our 2 week break and will definitely be booking next year! Hosts could not be more attentive and were there whenever we needed them. Would highly recommend this Villa!
