Very clean and spacious.

No elevator

Va ser un lloc tranquil i pràctic que ens va anar molt bé durant la nostra estada a París. Tot estava ben muntat i feia que des del primer moment tot fos còmode i fàcil. A més, estar a prop d’algunes zones amb ambient li donava un punt extra, perquè podíem sortir i improvisar sense haver de planificar gaire.

The location is convenient, just a short walk from a metro station and there are plenty of options to eat in the area. Montmartre is within a walking distance. The apartment itself seems to be recently (2&2 years) renovated and the sofa bed has the easiest open/close mechanism I've ever seen. We didn't cook there, but I believe it had all cutlery that would be needed to prepare a dinner.

The check-in process was a nightmare: you are required to fill in plenty of paperwork in an online system, submit a photo of your passport, send them a selfie, and pay a 500 EUR safety deposit, afterwards I waited in vain for hours to get the checkin instructions. Ultimately I had to make a phone call to the property manager (it's an agency running flats in a few countries), who finally was kind enough to approve our stay and let me access the instructions. Meanwhile I was waiting outside with my family and the luggage! The flat is situated just above a 🌈-friendly bar that gets really noisy until late in the evenings - you can't really sleep with open windows while the crowd has fun downstairs. The living room looks spacious on the picture but is rather small - it is very difficult to fit around the kitchen table, and moving the coffee table around the room requires special care to not let it break apart. The bathroom seems to a late addition to the apartment - everyone in my family is rather skinny, so it wasn't a problem for us, but taking a shower would be very challenging for those on the chubbier side of the spectrum. A day or two after we left Paris, they decided to keep 100 EUR from the safety deposit to cover a "Damaged trash bin: £86" that allegedly occurred during our stay. I have immediately challenged that and 2 weeks later (and after multiple messages from my end) I've received a "proof" - a picture of the cheap and visibly intact trash bin. They didn't bother replying to me further. All in all Paris is a magical city full with things to see, explore and taste. You shouldn't let such unfair hosts ruin your experience - just accept that you are not their guest, but a cash cow that needs milking.
