Rains Waterfront Cottage

This was a home, so there is no breakfast. The home was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fairly well stocked for preparing meals at home. Nothing in Cedar Key was very far away. Very pleasant and comfortable overall!

The photos didn’t really show just how close the home sat to the road which could be an issue if taking your pets for a walk or if you had small children. One odd thing about the layout was that you had to go thru the bathroom to get to the bedroom. If you needed something from the bedroom and someone was using the bathroom, you had to wait until they were finished to access it. One interesting thing though; I tried to book it thru McCormick Management, the folks who manage it and I was told that it wasn’t available. However, when looking at other options, Booking.com had it listed as available and was actually able to book it thru them for the same dates. Not sure where the breakdown was there.
