Panchwati Farms Homestay

Our one-night stay in Almora at Panchwati Farmstays was a highlight of our journey. While it is often advertised as the best homestay in the area, I can now personally attest that it absolutely lives up to the reputation. It offers a perfect blend of professional service and the genuine warmth of a family home. ​Exceptional Hospitality ​The level of care we received from the staff was remarkable and deeply personal: ​Shivsinghji and Sanjayji (Caretakers & Cooks): Their service and cooking were exceptional. They went above and beyond for our family, even going to local medicine stores to pick up supplies when we needed them. ​Prashantji (Owner): He was an incredibly gracious host who ensured every one of our requests was fulfilled with kindness and efficiency. ​Thoughtful Room Design and Views ​The accommodations are designed with both aesthetics and family needs in mind: ​Stylish Interiors: The rooms feature a charming design with white brick walls and elegant canopy beds that feel both modern and cozy. ​Perfect for Kids: A standout feature for us was the separate kids' bunk section. It provided ample room to play and came equipped with several board games, which was a huge hit. The beautiful wooden carpentry of the loft area and ceiling creates a wonderful, adventurous atmosphere for children. ​Expansive Balconies: The rooms include huge balconies that are perfect for soaking in the environment. The views of the lush mountainside are completely unobstructed, making for very peaceful mornings. ​Sumptuous Dining and Scenery ​The food was exactly what we hoped for from a premier homestay—healthy, home-cooked, and sumptuous. Dining while overlooking the rolling green hills was a serene experience. To top it all off, the property offers some of the most breathtaking sunset views we’ve seen, painting the entire sky in vibrant oranges and golds.

Panchwati, Almora is a very beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The location is surrounded by natural beauty and offers a calm and relaxing environment. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained with a simple yet elegant style. The staff is very polite and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The food is fresh and tasty, giving a homely feel. Overall, it is an excellent experience and a perfect getaway for anyone looking to relax in nature.
