This custom wooden house is set far back from the road with a long dirt driveway on a peaceful, tranquil, retreat setting.
Walk in the front door to an open concept with cathedral ceilings and beautiful custom wood work. Inside, you’ll find a charmingly updated interior that combines all the modern conveniences with character to spare – notice the pressed-tin backsplash in the kitchen and main bedroom suite’s bathroom and the antique dresser painted in shabby chic blue and now serving as a coffee station.
Brew yourself a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and start the day in the enclosed sunroom at the back of the house, with a sweet hammock swing, Boho egg chairs, and an overstuffed sofa, all with a view of the trees behind the home. Breakfast prep is a breeze in the full kitchen, which features all the appliances and plenty of counter space. When it’s time to eat, you’ll have your choice of a breakfast bar or built-in, window-front dining nook, which features a live-edge wooden crank table.
After a fun day out, head home and get the wood stove on the main floor crackling. Grab one of the many board games on hand for some family together-time or, for a bit of TV, settle into the loft seating area and stream your favorite shows. Check-in was easy and very smooth, home was clean and homey. Plenty of outdoor games to play such as corn hole, ladder ball, can jam and horse shoes, along with a nice fire pit to sit by for smore's and watching our kids have fun. The home is set back and quiet, yet not too far from the local area. It was the perfect location for hiking, kayaking and relaxing. Jeremy was the perfect host, always in touch to make sure everything was to our liking.
